Important Note Regarding Our Cosmetics and Skincare Products

For health and hygiene reasons, sealed cosmetics and personal care products that cannot be returned once their seals have been broken—due to health or hygiene concerns—may only be returned as long as the original seal remains intact.

If the seal was removed after delivery, the statutory right of withdrawal for these products expires in accordance with Section 312g(2)(3) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen (14) days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither related to their commercial activities nor to their self-employed professional activities.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., by email or letter).

Please direct all inquiries regarding cancellations and returns exclusively through the official contact channels listed above.

Messages sent via social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, or other social media platforms are not intended for processing cancellations and returns.

To ensure prompt and reliable processing, please contact us directly by email at online-shop@rivoli.ch and include your order number.

Once we receive your request, we will provide you with a free return label.

You may use the sample withdrawal form below to exercise your right of withdrawal. However, you are not required to use this form.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient to send your notice of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of the Revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including shipping costs (except for any additional costs incurred because you chose a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping option we offer).

The refund will be issued immediately and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date we receive your notice of cancellation.

We will use the same payment method you used for your original order to process the refund, unless otherwise expressly agreed. You will not incur any additional costs as a result.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have shipped the goods—whichever occurs first.

Returning the Goods

We will cover the cost of the return. Returns are free of charge for you if made within the valid cancellation period.

Please contact us by email before returning the item at online-shop@rivoli.ch and provide us with your order number.

Once we receive your request, we will provide you with a free return label that you can use to send the merchandise back to us.

Please do not return the merchandise on your own without contacting us first.Please use the return label we have provided so that we can correctly identify and process your return.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which you notified us of your cancellation of this contract.

The deadline is met if you ship the goods before the end of the fourteen (14)-day period.

Please handle the merchandise with care and, if possible, return it in its original packaging. However, returning the merchandise in its original packaging is not a requirement for effectively exercising your right of withdrawal.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that was not necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

• for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is essential, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs,
• for the delivery of goods that are likely to spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded quickly,
• for the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time the contract was concluded, but whose delivery will take place no earlier than 30 days after the contract was concluded and whose current value depends on market fluctuations,
• for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires early for contracts

• for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been broken after delivery. This may apply in particular to cosmetics and personal care products that are sealed in this manner.
• for the delivery of goods that, due to their nature, became inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery.
• for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging, if the seal was broken after delivery.

Please note

For cosmetics and personal care products that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons and cannot be returned once the seal has been broken, the statutory right of withdrawal expires as soon as the seal is broken after delivery.

We therefore ask that you not remove the seal until you are certain you want to keep the product.

If the cancellation is valid, we will cover the cost of the return shipment. The statutory cancellation period remains fourteen (14) days.
